To mark the centenary of the Société des Membres de la Légion d’Honneur (Society of Members of the Legion of Honour), a French tour of the Flame of the Unknown Solider is being organised.

One of the stages will take place in Monaco on 7 May.
To mark this event and in connection with the commemorations of the centenary of Prince Albert I’s death, a ceremony will be held in front of the war memorial in the Monaco cemetery. As part of the educational and cultural activities organised by the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, senior secondary school students from the Principality will read texts by Prince Albert I and Prince Louis II.
