The cultural calendar for the 21/22 season of our commemorations truly gets underway as the summer gives way to September!

It begins with the exhibition “Powerboat meetings during Albert I’s era. The restored Yacht Club de Monaco collection”. To mark the centenary of the death of Albert I of Monaco (1848–1922), which H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco is keen to commemorate, the Yacht Club de Monaco, in partnership with the Albert I – 2022 Committee is organising an exhibition of items from its collection relating to powerboat races in Monaco during the reign of Prince Albert I.
The exhibition, which is taking place as part of Monaco Classic Week 2021 (from 8 to 11 September 2021), will showcase some 60 items (lithographs, postcards, photographs, medals and trophies) that have been recently restored. They are being exhibited to the general public for the first time.
A film about the restoration project and an interactive app on a touchscreen tablet will help visitors to explore the exhibition, which forms part of the rich programme of public events from the Albert I – 2022 Committee.

Public opening hours: From Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 September, 10 am to 7 pm / Sunday 12 September, 10 am to 4 pm.
Free entry, access via the quay.
