The preview screening of the documentary “A Struggle for Peace” will take place on Thursday 9 June at 6 pm, Grimaldi Forum, salle Camille Blanc.
“A Struggle for Peace”, directed by Yann-Antony Noghès (Check Productions) explores the policy of arbitration adopted by Prince Albert I around his relationship with the Nobel Peace Prize, Bertha Von Suttner and Kaiser Wilhelm II. It offers an account of the Prince’s less well-known commitment to humanism as an advocate for peace and a behind-the-scenes player in the Franco-German rapprochement, from the Dreyfus Affair to the First World War.
