Special preview screening of the documentary The Prince, the Nobel Prize and the Kaiser

Le prince, la prix Nobel et le kaiser (The Prince, the Nobel Prize and the Kaiser), a documentary for television produced by Yann-Antony Noghès (Check Productions) will explore the policy of arbitration adopted by Prince Albert I around his relationship with the Nobel Peace Prize, Bertha Von Suttner and Kaiser Wilhelm II. It will offer an account of the Prince’s less well-known commitment to humanism as an advocate for peace and a behind-the-scenes player in the Franco-German rapprochement, from the Dreyfus Affair to the First World War.
