Albert I of Monaco, as told by secondary school pupils

Concert at the Prince Palace

At 9.30 pm on Sunday 17 July 2022, as part of the Prince’s Palace concert programme, there will be a performance to mark the centenary year. The performance is the result of a collaborative effort between the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Albert I Committee, and will offer an opportunity to hear pieces that have not been performed since 1910, with a global recreation of Jules Massenet’s “Nef Triomphale”.

The Prince and the painter. Albert I and Louis Tinayre, a friendship discovering the world

In parallel with two major exhibitions in Oslo and Lisbon, Monaco will play host to a significant artistic event marking the Albert I centenary commemorations. Tinayre. The exhibition “The Prince and the painter. Albert I and Louis Tinayre, a friendship discovering the world” will be held at the Quai Antoine I exhibition hall in Monaco from mid-July to 18 September 2022.

Film screening and talk on 9 July in the Courtyard of Honour of the Palace: "The Worlds of Albert I, Diary of a Life"

A collaboration between the Palace Archives of Monaco, the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco and the Albert I Committee – 2022, to highlight the work of Prince Albert I, a sovereign, man of action, scholar, patron and humanist, while at the same time exploring his favourite lands: Monaco, France, Norway, Portugal, United States.
